Our History

Premiere Charities started off with only having one chapter, which is our international one. We met a girl, her name is Tara Suri and she is the one that introduced us to Balagurukulam. The Kripalu family went to India for a visit to the orphanage and ever since, Premiere Charities has given their undying support. Seeing the children with their eager smiles and warm hearts was enough for us to know we wanted to support Balagurukulam in their endeavors. In 2009 CNN Heroes was on television and many people were watching it, as we watched the special we came across a man that served the homeless every single night and he was only a bus driver! His income was poor, yet his heart was so big!  It made us feel inspired to serve the homeless and before we knew it we were serving once a month! And after support arrived we were able to serve twice a month and now we are at once a week! The project has grown extensively and we owe it all to our volunteers. Premiere Charities is different. We have no administration costs and every single penny from your donations will be going towards both of our programs.
